We will wait over 20 years to get Byford Central correct unless it is built correct the first time.
We want a functional vibrant Byford Central and not wait 20 years seeing it built bit by bit.
Your vote for Dean Strautins elevates Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire on the state level agenda
Vote to avoid state government delivering a sub-standard Byford train station and CBD
My campaign has gained a $30 million election promise from Labor that includes funding for a new Byford Library.
There will be a financially self sustainable building located near the new Byford Train Station with $30 million construction promised by the state government. I need your 1 Vote to lobby Council and government to achieve all of the following within this funding.
2000 Sqm – Health Hub
1000 sqm – Library
1000 sqm – Business Development Centre
1000 sqm – Commercial Offices
1000 sqm – Apartments for Access and Inclusion.
1000 sqm – Roof Top Function Centre
The SJ Shire Council is already working towards a more innovative Shire as a result of Dean Strautins’ initiative at Council that creates and attracts businesses. This Paper describes the type of effort the Shire is making. But the WA state government invests the least in supporting the start-up sector regardless that it is commonly understood globally that start-ups create most of the new jobs in an economy as described in this podcast
Byford is central to the Darling Range electorate. The more attractive and prosperous is Byford then there will be flow on to the surrounding electorate. The High Schools and Supermarkets are just the foundation. To provide attractive prosperity then the Byford Metronet and central hub of Byford requires next level infrastructure, businesses, and services such as a TAFE, Satellite Universities, A Start-Up Business Incubator, Library, small scale live performance venues, etc
State Government Representation to co-ordinate contributors
As a Shire Councillor Dean Strautins has worked to influence various suppliers like Metronet and the Main Roads to provide the best outcomes for Byford Central. But, Main Roads ploughs on ignoring our equine tunnel access requests so that Bridle Trails to the hills and within are cut off. Metronet also will most likely build a non aesthetically attractive station that is logically accessible and catering to new technologies.
Please support Byford to become the best it can become by voting 1 for Dean Strautins.
We do not want Byford to struggle such as every other suburb on the Armadale train line. Byford has the opportunity to be economically successful with a great lifestyle for all.
One of the greatest assets in SJ Shire are the bridle tracks. Dean Strautins has frequently sought to improve the network of tracks and the facilities that can be accessed on horse via the tracks.
Dean Strautins will work towards the installation of two horse underpasses if elected to state government so that riders can cross under Thomas Road and South West Highway.
